Teacher certification in combination with major programs may require the completion of more than 120 semester hours prior to graduation. In addition, to be recommended by Montclair State University for certification, students must pass the appropriate PRAXIS II examination. For details on specific programs, consult the current University catalog, the program worksheet prepared by the advisor in the subject-major department, or contact the Center of Pedagogy in University Hall.
